Barre Workout

Barre ® exercises include both slow exercises, which stretch and warm up muscles, and fast exercises, which help dancers strengthen muscles and maintain technique at any speed. Each Barre exercise has a specific purpose, such as to strengthen feet, increase extension, improve flexibility, and help a dancer find their ballon. Proper placement (positions of feet and arms in ballet) and posture is emphasized in all exercises.

This 60 minute class is done to music, and is a combination of ballet, yoga and Pilates. Arm weights are used for the arm series. The barre will lengthen and tone every muscle in your body, with special emphasis on the booty!

Instructors Marti Boyle and Brooke Perkins attended the prestigious Booty Barre training. Our Booty Barre workout is a combination of yoga, ballet and pilates and provides a powerful non-impact cardio workout that will burn fat and tone your entire body.
